It is always worth making a stop in Budapest! Lovely people, great food, great nightlife, accommodation is very affordable. You will love the vibe of the city. Find yourself a nice coffee house where you can spend your working hours, and make sure you don’t miss out on the nightlife!

Budapest is home to many people who planned to stay for a week or two and still are around three years later.

Location

Budapest is located in the heart of Central Europe. You can reach it quickly from Vienna, Belgrade or Zagreb. Even from Prague it is not that far to go.

Traveling

Wizzair is based in Budapest, so finding a low-cost airfare to Budapest airport is usually easy and convenient. However, the airport is quite far outside of Budapest, so be aware that you need to ride the shuttle bus for around 45 minutes to get to the city center.

In addition, there are numerous night train connections, e.g. from Munich, Zurich, Berlin, from Wroclaw in Poland or from Prague.
